Guess the Word

1. 1 Explain that one student will think of a word but must not say it directly.
2. 2 The student gives clues by describing the word using simple language.
3. 3 Other students listen carefully and try to guess the word.
4. 4 Encourage students to give clear and helpful clues rather than very short ones.
5. 5 Once the word is guessed, choose a new student to continue the activity.
6. 6 Support students by giving example descriptions if needed.
7. 7 Encourage students to ask questions if they are unsure.
8. 8 Finish by discussing which descriptions were most effective and why.
