Lesson stages

0 / 8 done
  1. 1 Tell students that they will create a story together, and each person will add one sentence.
  2. 2 Start the story with a simple opening sentence, such as 'One day, a boy found a strange box.'
  3. 3 Invite the next student to continue the story by adding a sentence that makes sense.
  4. 4 Encourage students to listen carefully so that their sentence connects logically to what came before.
  5. 5 Continue around the class, supporting students with ideas if they get stuck.
  6. 6 Write key sentences on the board if possible so students can follow the story more easily.
  7. 7 When the story reaches a natural ending, ask students to summarise what happened.
  8. 8 Discuss how the story developed and which sentences helped it make sense.

Tap a step to mark it as done.

Variations

  • Use a specific theme.
  • Limit sentence length.
