Same or Different

1. 1 Give two simple ideas, such as 'tea and coffee' or 'morning and evening'.
2. 2 Model one example by explaining how they are similar and how they are different.
3. 3 Ask students to work in pairs and discuss the two ideas.
4. 4 Encourage them to use simple comparison language.
5. 5 Walk around the class and support students with ideas or vocabulary.
6. 6 Invite a few pairs to share their answers.
7. 7 Highlight good use of comparison language.
8. 8 Finish by asking students which comparisons were easiest.
